Success Workshops
These are aimed primarily at individuals or small business owners as a cost effective method of communicating the message of the core values of what Dean Thorpe does in their Development Approaches. (Explained in the “AUTHOR” section of the website).
The workshops allow the ideas from these other three areas, to be drawn together to a pool of people. Shaun Murphy is present at these events to talk about his own success and the path he took to reach his goals. These events are very inclusive and allow people to learn in a friendly and enjoyable atmosphere.
Development Approaches
CJC works in a number of different development areas including Business Alignment, Personal Development and Professional Speaking. These three approaches link in with the work Dean does as a Personal Development and Business Alignment Consultant and below is an explanation of these areas, to give you an impression of why they will be useful to you or your business.
Business Alignment
Where we help small to medium sized businesses, including those who want to grow, improve their profits and performance as well as looking to continually develop in the areas of, for example, innovation. We are always looking at ways to improve profitability and a businesses bottom line. This is an area all the businesses we have worked with usually want to achieve. We also focus on people performance and system performance. We tend to work with companies/organisations for a minimum of 6-12 months.
Personal Development
This links in with Business Alignment as the larger organisations we work with often find issue's with aligning the goals of big businesses with those of their key individuals and employee's which is what we help to resolve. This has been a large part of the work we have done successfully with, for example AEGON Scottish Equitable's East Midlands Branch.
Professional Speaking
This area has arisen from the 3 main methods of consulting and we are currently developing this area further. Outside of snooker, Shaun's excellent presenting and professional speaking skills have seen him develop into an excellent key note speaker both in terms of after dinner speeches about his snooker career, but also alongside his partners in the business fraternity, where he can use his own experiences and achievements to provide insight and motivation for others to develop their own careers and successful paths. Look out for Dean and Shaun on the speaking circuits!
